Stray Thoughts

Most of us, at most times react from memory. How many thoughts, feelings, emotions, actions are original?
For eg. when there is a wedding or death, people cry. Even if one does not know whose arthi or doli it is.
A closer look at our daily lives and we see that most of our acts omissions are actually reactions from memory.
If one is brought up in a particular environment, one tries to recreate the same/similar environment for one's children.
It may be due to seeking safety and sanctity with the best of intentions, yet, it is "reactive".
When things go wrong we blame outside factors for it.
When things go right we store the environment/circumstances and try to recreate them (we actually make ourselves believe that by not giving ourselves the credit for it we are being modest) in the hope/belief that "it works".
The fact remains that nothing ever repeats in life. We are solely responsible for everything that happens to us.
There is only one singular truth, Love. The love one gets from one's family is not possible to get anywhere else.
It is this underline of love which is the only education we need, we have, to give and get in life.
Maa baap jaisi parvarish aur kahin nahin mil sakti, period.
All else is reactive, mithya, maya.
