The warmth
Of my
Family
Keeps me
Going…
In this
Cold,
Wintry
Weather
Of
Leigh-on-Sea.

Yet I can’t help
Thinking - about
Those bleak souls…
Somehow existing in
Broken relationships,
Suffering hardships…

Such freezing
Temperatures
Of two and
Minus two,
Don’t
Match
Up to
The coldness
Of their
Frozen
Friendships.

Till the time
You keep
Growing
Emotionally,
Spiritually,
And
Psychologically,
You’ll find that
Your physical
Ageing has
Nothing to do

Vibrant
Thinking…

Unknown

None of you
Know me…
Neither do I

A lot of me
Is unknown -
I wonder why

Protect

Will you protect
My daughter
If I’m not there?

I’m not too
Worried
About my son.

It’s a man’s world
You see – he’ll be
Able to roam free.

Between us

Bed we share
The children
We rear…

That houses
Our conjugal
Despair.

Yet we care
As marriage
Is a burden
