Life Sans Wife
P. Mohan Chandran (India, 15/04/06)
How peaceful is life!
Without the presence of a wife.
Far away, from the usual strife,
Sans the controversies, ever so rife.
As serenity reigns the air,
Life seems so fair.
Without a thought of despair,
For not being a part of the pair.
It’s joy every time, being alone,
With none around, to pick a bone.
There’s no reason to moan,
Though we’re in a ‘lonely zone’
There’s so much more to life,
Than worrying about a wife.
Be grateful to God, you’ve a reason to smile,
Only joys, not sorrows, as you pile.
Life sans wife, is truly enviable,
Without any trouble, happiness will only double.
