When you’re by my side,

In you, my feelings, I confide.

When you lend me a patient ear,

Into joy, turns every drop of tear.

My dreams, when you share,

Even the impossible, I dare.

Your presence vanishes my every fear,

Even invisible goals seem clear.

The euphony of your laugh, whenever I hear,

Unknown to myself, I’m drawn to you, near.

Deep into my eyes, when you stare,

You reinforce the fact, we’re the best pair.

As if I was to follow and you were to lead.

Towards you, I always showed concern,

As if you were to teach and I was to learn.

With you, I always spoke soft,

As if, your sagging spirits, I had to loft.

About you, I always thought,

As if I feared, your memories could drought.

In you, everything, I liked,

As if completely satisfied, and nothing more could be hiked.

You’ve bound me in your love, neck and crop,

Quitting your love, only towards death, I can hop!
